Our EDI work is part of everything we do. It supports our workforce and our work with communities. It applies to our supply chain, and is integral to the design and operation of our stations and rolling stock.
WISE: HS2 is a member of the Women in Science and Engineering campaign. WISE assists it’s members via sharing best practice, tools and guidance and inspiring the next generation of talent. HS2 is a WISE ten steps signatory and participates in a number of WISE initiatives.
BiTC - Race for Opportunity and Opportunity Now: HS2 is a member of BiTC. Our membership with BiTC gives us access to the latest benchmarking data, tools, guidance and the ability to collaborate across sectors with organisations wanting to ensure exemplar EDI performance.
Business Disability Forum: HS2 is a member of the Business Disability Forum. Our membership of BDF provides excellent resources and advice for our line managers on managing disability in the workplace.
Employers Network for Equality and Inclusion (ENEI): HS2 is a member of ENEI. Our membership provides us with opportunities to collaborate across sectors on best practice and benefit from solutions developed across the UK to issues such as unconscious bias and inclusive leadership.
