About HS2

Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

At HS2, a diverse range of talents is coming together to take Britain into a new era. We’re creating an inclusive environment, enabling us to solve problems collaboratively, innovatively and sustainably.

Could you be part of our team?

We consider people who have taken non-traditional routes to gather skills and transferable knowledge. Our way of recruiting challenges people to demonstrate they have the right skills for the task that needs doing. If you can show that you have the right skills to join our venture, we’ll support you to perform - and develop - to the highest standards.

We’ve shaped inclusive and innovative recruitment models, embraced flexible working, and created a range of policies to support wellbeing and individuals’ wider needs.

We also expect our suppliers to share our commitment. Our supply chain will help us to set new benchmarks in equality, diversity and inclusion, and in the delivery of major infrastructure projects. We offer a range of support to help contractors improve and embed best practice within their organisations.

Our EDI work is part of everything we do. It supports our workforce and our work with communities. It applies to our supply chain, and is integral to the design and operation of our stations and rolling stock.
